This workshop introduces a yoga therapy–based approach to supporting recovery after traumatic brain injury (TBI). Designed for individuals living with TBI, caregivers, and neuro professionals, this session explores how nervous system regulation, breathwork, gentle movement, and mindfulness practices can support cognitive healing and emotional resilience holistically.
Unlike traditional fitness-based yoga classes, this trauma-informed yoga therapy workshop focuses on:
Nervous system regulation after concussion or brain injury
Breathwork techniques to reduce headaches, anxiety, and overstimulation
Gentle, adaptive movement for balance and coordination
Strategies to support focus, fatigue management, and sensory sensitivity
Mind-body tools for long-term brain health and neuroplasticity
Participants will learn practical tools that can be safely integrated into daily life to support post-concussion recovery, brain fog, and other chronic TBI symptoms. All practices are accessible, adaptable, and rooted in evidence-informed yoga therapy principles.
It’s a 90 minute 4-part series taking place from 3:30pm to 5pm on the following dates:
